Safety & Insurance
Safety is of the paramount importance to us.
Every display we perform has stringent safety measures put into place, and we strictly follow the Queensland Mines Department’s Fireworks Code Of Practice.
There are a number of operators out there who do not follow adequate safety procedures, and some even do not have appropriate licenses and insurances.
When employing a fireworks operator, always ask the following:
* Do you have insurance, and can I see the policy’s certificate of currency?
* Can I see your license?...in Queensland, it is a photo ID, and it will say what the operator is licensed to fire. These are ‘Ground Displays’, ‘Aerial Displays’, and ‘Special Effects’
* Can I see your logbook?...this is an legal requirement by the QLD Mines Department that ALL operators keep an up to date logbook that keeps a record of each and every show.
* Do you have a Senior Certificate In First Aid?
* How do you plan to control the spectators...are there barriers to keep people out, or will there be security guards?
* Have you ever had an accident, or fireworks malfunction that has caused injury?
At Evolution Fireworks, we satisfy and go beyond all of the above.
We are fully insured for public liability, and workcover, so you can be assured that every one of our displays is fully covered.
Our training, our experience, and our committment to safety at all times is your guarantee of excellence.
We are also full members of the Australian Pyrotechnics Assocation (APA).
Don’t take the chance in using an un-insured, or non-member of the APA. It’s simply not worth the risk...and the fines are astronomical!!!!
